drifting on by…

Hi! My name is Abdullahi and I live in sunny Seattle, WA by way of breezy Chicago, IL.

This is my website, where I will (infrequently) share thoughts, photos, and other artifacts of particular interest to me.

Feel free to take a look around!

My interests include, but are not limited to:

Geography. Nothing like just opening up Google Maps and taking a gander (yes, I’m 12 years old).
Climate. Day-dreaming about picking up and moving to a new Csb location.
Computing. Specifically, I’m interested and work professionally in cybersecurity.
Sports. Quite a few of them.
Linguistics. Historical linguistics in general and in particular, anything to do with the Afroasiatic language family.
Clouds. In fact daruur is the Somali word for clouds.

You can email me at abdullahi at this website's domain.

I can also be found elsewhere on the Internet, usually under the alias daruuro.
